Trout is scheduled to appear in DuPage County Circuit Court at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, before Judge Richard Russo, according to Paul Darrah, a spokesman at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Trout was placed on administrative leave from the Village of Westmont on Saturday following his arrest by the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, according to a press release from the village late Tuesday night.
Trout, who resides in Westmont, could not be reached for comment at his home Wednesday.
Trout was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. Friday along the 3900 block of Adams Street in unincorporated Westmont, according to Dawn Domrose, a spokeswoman for the DuPage County Sheriffs Department.
Trout was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving to fast for conditions and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after Trout’s vehicle struck a parked car along Adams Street, said Domrose. No one was injured in the crash.
Darrah said Trout refused a breathalyzer test by police at the time of his arrest.
